Scotty,



To address your comment on the possiblity of harmonic mixing effects, I went to the local university lab and connected the filter to a HP VNA. I added two photos to the group photo files showing the output:

It looks to me like things look the way they should close in to the main filter response. I think this says the component values are OK. There is definitely something there where the hump in the resonse occurred on the MSA test. I think this also partially eliminates the harmonic mixing cause, although there still could be some of this with the commercial HP analyzer.



Please let me know if you have any new thoughts looking at the new photos. If so, I think my next step is to temporarily shield like you suggested.
