AD8367 Leveler

Post by vivroney » Tue Jan 21, 2014 5:37 am

The original design specifies 100ohm attenuator resistors to provide an output of exactly 250mVpp when terminated by 50 ohms, equivalent to -8.06dBm.
A more convenient output level would be -10dBm, or 200mVpp when terminated by 50 ohms. This can be provided by 125ohm series resistor (150 in parallel with 750) and 83.333 ohms to ground (100 parallel 500 (1k//1k)).
Is my thinking wrong?
